Galway United FC are delighted to announce the signing of Lee Devitt. The 25-year-old joins the Tribesmen from Treaty United, following a very impressive spell at the Limerick side.

Early Career

Devitt began his senior career with Limerick FC in 2019.

Lee joined Cobh Ramblers at the start of the 2020 season.

The Clare man joined Treaty United then ahead of the 2022 season and went onto be a key player for Tommy Barrett’s charges.

The central midfielder appeared in all of Treaty’s 36 league games last season, as well as their three play-off fixtures.

Awards

Following his excellent performances last season for Treaty, the former Shannon Hibs underage player was chosen on the PFAI First Division team of the year for 2025.

What to Expect

Devitt is predominantly a central midfielder but also has frequently lined out on the wing or in a more attacking midfield role.

John Caulfield spoke about Lee signing for Galway United:
