Galway United are delighted to announce that Shauna Fox has signed for our senior women’s side ahead of the 2025 season.
The Galway native will be welcomed home to Eamonn Deacy Park on Saturday having spent a number of years in Dublin playing with both Shelbourne FC and Shamrock Rovers.

Fox is a veteran of the league having played in every season since 2011, first with Castlebar Celtic and then with Galway WFC when it was founded in 2012. She made a significant contribution towards the squad over the years and was appointed captain in 2021.
Shauna’s move to Dublin saw her sign with Shelbourne FC for two seasons where she picked up two league titles and an FAI Cup win along with a place in 2022’s Team of The Year. She then moved to Tallaght, where she was part of the Shamrock Rovers set up for a further two seasons.
