
Jimmy Keohane, born in 1991, in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, started his football journey with youth teams Belvedere and Evergreen. His professional career started with Wexford Youths in the League of Ireland, where he scored six goals in 34 games for the Youths. This earned him a move to Bristol City in England, and then a move to Exeter City where he made his debut against Liverpool in cup competition, he stayed for four seasons in Exeter, scoring nine goals and making 81 appearances total for the Grecians.
Since joining Galway United, he has made a name for himself with some stunning strikes and his all round ability. Ahead of the 2026 season, he was named Captain of the team.
