Abbie played with Galway WFC's U17s in 2020 and with their U19 team in 2021. By 2022 she was part of Galway WFC's Senior WNL squad and she made 13 league appearances that season.

At the end of 2022 Galway WFC withdrew from the WNL and Abbie was among the first players to sign for Galway United who took their place in the newly rebranded LOI Women's Premier Division.

In 2023 Abbie scored four times in 16 league and cup appearances and in 2024 she made a further 12 appearances without adding to her goal tally. 2025 started brightly for Abbie, scoring in the 3-2 win over Shamrock Rovers, but like a number of her team-mates, injury took a heavy toll and he made just 7 appearances that season.
