Heather played with Knocknacarra before joining the Galway United women's squad in 2023. She made her senior debut as a substitute against Peamount United on 4 October 2023, becoming the youngest player to play for a senior Galway side, aged 15.
Heather finished the 2023 season with 2 outings for Phil Trill's side and was included in his Galway United squad for 2024, when she added 4 more league and cup appearances. Heather was also part of United's senior squad in 2025, making a total of 9 appearances in all competitions.
