
Lucy joined Athlone Town's WU17 side in 2019 and graduated to the first team squad in 2021.
She made her senior debut against Peamount United on 24 July that year and scored her first goal for the club just two weeks later in a 2-1 defeat to Galway WFC.
She made 10 league and cup appearances in her debut seasonand followed that up with 14 appearances in 2022, mostly from the substitutes bench. This included coming on as a sub in the 2022 FAIW Cup Final where Arthlone lost out 2-0 to Shelbourne.
Lucy-Jayne logged another 14 senior league and Cup appearances in 2023 and was an unused sub in Athlone's penalty shoot-out FAIW Cup Final victory, again versus Shelbourne.
In February 2024, Lucy Jayne signed for Galway United and made her United debut as a substitute against Athlone Town on the opening weekend of the season. She finished the season with 19 league and cup appearances and played in all of Galway's All-Island Cup matches except the final, in which Galway beat Shamrock Rovers after a penalty shootout.
In 2025 Lucy-Jayne missed just two games for Galway, maing another 26 appearances.
