
Lynsey played for Cork Womens Football Club in the inaugural 2011/12 Women's National League and spent two years with the club before signing for Galway WFC ahead of the 2013/14 season.
She spent 10 seasons with Galway WFC and when the club withdrew from the WNL at the end of 2022, Lynsey was one of the players who joined Galway United.
In her first season with United, Lynsey made 23 league and cup appearances, scoring once. She also captained the team to an All-Island Cup triumph when Galway defeated Cliftonville 1-0 in the Final. And in 2024 she scored twice from 18 games and won a second All-Island Cup winner's medal.
In 2025 Lynsey made 11 appearances in all competitions, scoring once, in United's final game of the season, a 3-1 win against DLR Waves at the UCD Bowl.
