Since joining from Cobh Ramblers in 2020, Dave Hurley has been a driving force in midfield, scoring 21 league goals in 2023 to help secure the First Division title. A former Player of the Year and PFAI Team of the Year member, Hurley’s creativity and leadership remain vital as United look ahead to another exciting campaign. Welcome back, David! 💪⚽

Since joining in 2022, Ed has been an integral part of our success—helping secure the First Division title and earning a place in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year in 2023. 🏆

His versatility and commitment continue to make him a key figure in our squad.

Jimmy Keohane

The versatile midfielder joined us from Rochdale in July 2024, bringing a wealth of experience and adaptability to our squad.

Jimmy’s career spans impressive milestones—from his early days at Wexford Youths to Bristol City and Exeter City, where he featured in cup action against Liverpool. He later enjoyed success at Cork City winning the Premier Division and FAI Cup, before a six-year spell at Rochdale where he made over 200 appearances and earned Player of the Year honors in 2020/21.

Our Mr. Galway United, Stephen Walsh returns for 2026! 🙌

After an incredible end to 2025—breaking the all-time appearance record and scoring crucial goals—we’re thrilled to announce he’s ready to add even more to his legendary tally!

A true fan favorite, Walshy began with Galway Hibs, joined us in 2010, and after spells with Mervue, Longford Town & Athlone, came back in 2021.

His versatility and goal-scoring earned him a spot in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year in 2023.
