Jamie Erickson is well known to United fans, particularly following her heroic performances particularly in last year’s Avenir Sports All-Island Cup final. In 2024 Canadian scored the winning penalties in the Semi-Final and Final. Erickson signed for United since it’s inception in late 2022, following a spell with Galway WFC. She became a mainstay within the squad within her two years, playing in almost every game. Erickson in 2024, became our first ever Senior Women’s player to hit the 50 appearance landmark.

Roisin Jacob has been around the LOI for over a decade now, starting initially with Galway WFC in 2014, and has pushed on since. It was in 2022, similarly to Erickson that the Carnmore native signed for United and spent two years with the Tribeswomen, where she has two All-Island cups under her belt.
Mary-Kate Tyrrell
Mary-Kate Tyrrell signed for United in March of 2024. Before her time in Galway, Tyrell also starred locally earning a place in the Mayo League team of the year. Tyrrell native then joined following an impressive trial and after playing against United for the Underdogs on TG4 at the end of the 2023 season.
