GALWAY UNITED LAUNCH STRIKING NEW ‘ROAR OF THE SEA’ INSPIRED HOME KIT

Introducing our Galway United 2024 Home Kit designed in-house and produced in Ireland by official sports-wear partner O’Neill’s Sports.

This year’s Galway United shirt design is inspired by the theme: ‘The Roar of the Sea’ Taking inspiration from the Gaelic phrase ‘Tuaimneacha’ which describes the thunderous beat of the sea crashing against the western coast.

The shirt is once again designed by Galway United’s Lead Designer Morgan O’Brien and features a bold graphic illustration of a tiger crashing through waves. A nod to our club Mascot ‘Terry the Tiger’ and a tribute to the Rampant Lion, which has featured on every iteration of the Galway United Crest. The Lion motif is also utilised in the form of the hem tag and back-of-neck detailing.

 

The return to the Premier Division is marked with a return to our traditional maroon and white. Gold accents complete the design to celebrate our 2023 SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division Champions, Women’s Avenir Sports All-Island Cup Winning team and our successful academy sides.
