Abbie Callanan Signs for 2024

Tá lúcháir ar Galway United a fhógairt go bhfuil Abbie Callanan tar éis síniú arís d’fhoireann sinsir na mban roimh an séasúr nua in 2024.

Galway United are delighted to announce that Abbie Callanan has re-signed for the senior women’s team ahead of the 2024 season.

The 20-year-old forward has committed to The Tribeswomen for 2024 and heads into her second season in Galway since signing for the club this year.

Callanan made 17 appearances in all competitions last season for United and scored four goals in that period.

 

Before joining United, Callanan played for Galway WFC for two years, scoring some iconic goals, memorably away to Peamount United and she carried on that momentum from her time at Galway WFC to United in 2023.

Callanan has represented Republic of Ireland at underage level on multiple occasions aswell, her finishing ability will certainly help United in 2024.
