Al-Amin Kazeem Signs for Galway United!!

FÁILTE AL-AMIN 👋

Tá lúcháir ar Gaillimh Aontaithe a fhógairt go bhfuil Al-Amin Kazeem ag síniú d’fhoireann sinsireach na bhfear.

Galway United FC are pleased to announce the signing of Al-Amin Kazeem.

The 23-year-old left back will be no stranger to United fans, as he spent the first half of the 2024 season on loan with the Tribesmen.

Kazeem left United in the summer of 2024, to join St. Patrick’s Athletic, however he has now re-joined the Westerners ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Career ⚽

The English man began his playing career at Colchester United and had a loan spell at Maldon & Tiptee during the 2019–20 season.

Following that loan spell, Kazeem returned to Colchester, where he would make 33 appearances for the club.

Ahead of the 2024 season, the pacey full-back joined Galway United on loan. However, after many impressive performances, St. Patrick’s Athletic signed the defender on a permeant deal from Colchester United.

Style of Play ⚽

Al-Amin is predominantly a left-back but can also play as a wing back or as a left winger. There is no doubt that his pace and tenacity will excite United fans in 2026.

Al-Amin on his Return ⚽

Speaking about his return to Eamonn Deacy Park, Kazeem said he was delighted to re-join John Caulfield’s charges.

“It’s good to be back. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs but at the end of the day sometimes things always end up in a cyclical manner. I’m back and I’m delighted to be back.”

“I’m just glad I’m in a place that I can be trusted, and people around me want me to play and believe in my ability. I’m glad to be here and hopefully I can show what I can do on the pitch.”
