Emma Duffy is back for 2025

Galway United are delighted to announce that 17-year-old Emma Duffy has re-signed for the 2025 season.
The Mayo native, made the step up from the academy for the 2024 season where she made 19 appearances in all competitions helping the side to retain the Avenir All-Island Cup for 2024.
Before joining United, Emma played for the Sligo Rovers U17 team for nine months in 2022. The following January, she joined Galway United at U19s level before making the step up to the seniors.
Emma made her Galway United senior debut in 2023 against Peamount United at just fifteen years of age.
Internationally, the midfielder has represented the Republic of Ireland at U17 level on four occasions, with appearances in competitive games against the likes of Norway, Poland and Albania.
Emma Duffy has returned for 2025 and there will be plenty more announcements as we look to continue building our squad for next season.
