Galway United Football Club partners with The Tuition Centre

Galway United Football Club is thrilled to announce an innovative partnership with The Tuition Centre which will focus on the Galway United FC Academy. 

The Tuition Centre will provide on demand Maths Grinds (The Maths Tutor)  free to all members of Galway United’s boys and girls academies, from 1st year to Leaving Cert. The Tuition Centre offers live online grinds, revision courses and pre-recorded grinds.

Commenting on the launch of the partnership, Commercial Manager Sam O’Neill said ”Our Academy not only offers a potential route to playing football professionally, but it helps mould and shape careers outside of football. Players learn vital skills that they can take forward in every area of life including communication skills, team work and leadership. This new partnership with The Tuition Centre will help develop the Academic side of those that come through our Academy, offering them vital supports as they continue their journey through the education system.”

He went on to say that “this partnership is something that we have been working on for a while now and we hope that it will last long into the future.”

With the increasing demands on parents’ and students’ time, no player should have to choose between sport and study. Galway United, as a progressive club, recognise this and we are delighted to put in place these online resources for every player that enters their academy programme, for the duration of their time in secondary school.”
