We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Aoibheann as she receives the 2025 Medtronic Galway Sports Stars Award for Women’s Soccer this Friday — an honour she has more than earned. 🙌

Aoibheann has been a standout performer since joining Galway United in 2023, showcasing exceptional athleticism, intelligence, and adaptability. A proud Milltown native, she has continued to elevate her game every season.

Her transition into a new position this year has added another dimension to United’s play — contributing creatively, linking attacks, and assisting a huge number of goals through her vision, movement, and unselfish work rate. 💫⚽️

From her early days with Cregmore Claregalway FC, where she memorably scored in Eamonn Deacy Park at just 13 in the U14 FAI Cup Final, to joining Galway WFC and then becoming one of Galway United’s most reliable and dynamic players, Aoibheann’s journey is a story of dedication, resilience, and passion. ❤️
