Jamie Erickson returns to Galway United
FÁILTE AR AIS JAMIE ERICKSON 👋
Tá lúcháir ar Gaillimh Aontaithe a fhógairt go bhfuil Jamie Erickson ag síniú d’fhoireann sinsir na mban.
Galway United are delighted to announce the return of 27-year-old defender Jamie Erickson for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Having first signed for Galway in our inaugural Senior Women’s season in 2023, Jamie quickly became a fan favourite and a star player of the squad. She made history in 2023 and 2024, helping guide the team to successive All-Island Cup victories. Erickson herself had scored the winning penalty in the Semi-Final and Final itself in 2024. In 2024 Erickson also became our first ever Senior Women’s player to reach 50 club appearances.

Speaking about her return, Phil Trill said:
“Yeah it’s great to have Jamie back. She has great experience and was brilliant in her previous spell. We’re delighted she chose to come back to United and play her football here. Her calmness, composure, defensive ability are fantastic. She’s a great leader and a great person so we’re happy to have her back in, it’s been a good boost around the camp.
