Jeremy Sivi signs for Galway United

Galway United is delighted to announce the signing of 23-year-old winger Jeremy Sivi, who joins from Slovakian top tier side Zemplin Michaelovce.
The London born winger links up with John Caulfield’s squad having gained valuable experience in both English and European football, signing a professional contract at Middlesborough in 2021 and most recently featuring in Slovakia’s top tier.
FROM LONDON TO GALWAY 🇮🇪
Born and raised in Hackney, East London, Jeremy began his career with Leyton Orient at academy level. His performances earned him a move to Championship side Middlesbrough in 2021, where he signed his first professional contract and made his senior debut in the EFL Cup against Blackpool. He had an outstanding time in the Academy, nominated for the Premier League 2 player of the month before being called up to the first team and signing a professional contract.
Loan spells with Harrogate Town in League Two and a permanent move to Sutton United followed. Sivi impressed at Harrogate Town and Sutton United where he became a fan favourite, playing 43 games for the two sides in League Two, the National League and FA Cup.
Jeremy earned a permanent move to the Slovakian top tier Zemplin Michaelovce at the start of 2025 after impressing for Sutton United. Sivi featured fourteen times scoring twice in his time at Eastern Europe. Which leads us to August 2025 and Sivi has now joined up with John Caulfield and the Tribesmen.
Reflecting on those past experiences, he said:
“Yeah it was great, you wanna go through these type of experiences as a player. So that you can keep working hard and obviously get things from them such as just like being away from home and out of your comfort zone and I feel like that’s what improves you as a player.”

ARRIVING IN GALWAY 🇱🇻
Sivi had been aware of Galway United for some time and admits the decision to join was an easy one.
“It feels amazing to finally get the deal done. I’ve been attracted to the club for quite some time just watching the football. I like the style of play here and how aggressive the league is. I spoke to the manager and we discussed how he sees me fitting in, it was a no-brainer.”
Jeremy attended United’s recent home clash with Shamrock Rovers before signing, giving him a taste of the Eamonn Deacy Park atmosphere:
“It was a nice atmosphere, I even got to be in the dressing room and see how the lads prepare. That will help me settle in quickly.”
WHAT TO EXPECT 🔥
A creative and dynamic winger, Sivi is comfortable on either flank. He brings pace, flair, and an eye for goal, with the ambition to make an immediate impact in maroon. Jeremy explained in his own words below:
