Galway United FC is delighted to announce the signing of Kris Twardek, who joins from Canadian Premier League club, Valour FC.

Twardek has previously represented Czechia and Canada at underage level, with the former Bohemian FC man also previously representing Canada at senior level.
League of Ireland Experience 🇮🇪
The Canadian previously played in the League of Ireland with Sligo Rovers and Bohemian FC.
The exciting winger had two spells with Bohs. In his first stint at the club in 2020, he made 13 appearances. In his second spell, he appeared for the North Dublin side on 48 occasions, during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Twardek began his senior career at Millwall, where he made two appearances for the club. He had loan spells with Braintree Town and Carlisle United before he joined Sligo. He made 47 appearances for Sligo in 2018 and 2019.

In 2025, Twardek made 27 appearances for Valour FC in the Canadian Premier League, scoring four goals.
