MATCH PREVIEW: Peamount United vs Galway United (SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division)

  PEAMOUNT UNITED V GALWAY UNITED

Galway United are back in action this Saturday as our Senior Women’s side play against Peamount United at Greenogue Park in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division on Saturday, 22nd March, with kick-off at 5PM.

LAST TIME OUT FOR GALWAY UNITED

Last time out we recorded a 1-3 win against Bohemians at Dalymount Park. After conceding after just a few minutes, United then went and turned the game on it’s head. With goals from new signing Ceola Bergin, Kate Thompson and Isabella Beletic sealing all three points for the Tribeswomen. Kate Thompson’s goal particularly took some of the headlines with a lovely strike to put United back ahead.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

The clubs last met back in 2024 where United recorded a 3-1 win at home thanks to a Julie-Ann Russell brace and a third from Emma Doherty. Check out the highlights below:
