“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Nuasan, a company that shares our values of dedication and community spirit around County Galway” said Galway United’s Commercial Manager Sam O’Neill “Having local businesses support the club is incredibly meaningful, and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership.”

The Journey of Nuasan

Nuasan was founded by Dara Scott, who has a rich background in science and a passion for an active lifestyle. Dara’s extensive travels and experiences around the world, including working with the American non-profit marine research organization WHOI and its underwater research robot, inspired the creation of Nuasan. His active lifestyle, from cycling through Asia to hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains, highlighted the need for natural body care products tailored for active individuals.

“I love every minute of my active life, but there were times when I just felt achy and grubby,” Dara recalled. “On a flight back from hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains, I had a lightbulb moment. My muscles ached, I was hot and sweaty, and my skin was sore and chaffed. I realized there were no natural body care products that could address these issues.” This was the moment Dara realised the opportunity to help others through the company Nuasan.

Innovation and Sustainability

Upon returning to Ireland, Dara dedicated four years to research and development, creating a range of products that harness the power of science and natural active ingredients. Launched in January 2020, Nuasan Active Skincare has grown rapidly, with products now sold across Europe and available in retail stores throughout Ireland. The brand remains committed to Dara’s original vision, emphasising natural ingredients, ethical practices, and sustainability. Notably, 10% of all profits are donated to sustainable charities and environmental groups.

Nuasan‘s commitment to quality and sustainability aligns perfectly with our club’s values,” stated Sam O’Neill “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for both parties to promote wellness and community involvement.”

Looking Ahead

As we’re settling into the 2025 season, the support from Nuasan will play a vital role in ensuring the team’s success on and off the pitch. Fans can look forward to seeing the positive impact of this partnership through various joint initiatives and promotions across our social medias.

“We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with Galway United. At Nuasan, we’re passionate about supporting athletes with our natural body and skincare products, and this continued partnership allows us to help the players recover and perform at their peak” said Dara Scott. “As a local brand, we’re proud to support a local club, like Galway United and we’re excited to follow the teams throughout the upcoming season and wish them the best of the luck for the rest of the year”
