OxyGeneration become Official Club Partners for 2025

Galway United Football Club is thrilled to announce OxyGeneration as a new Club Partner for the 2025 Season.

OxyGeneration is a state-of-the-art Hyperbaric Oxygenation Therapy clinic based in Galway. They have a purpose built 14-seat chamber which safely creates the required pressurised environment and pure oxygen to breathe during a session. They will be providing this service to both our Senior Men’s & Women’s players to help aid them in their recovery.

ABOUT OXYGENERATION

OxyGeneration opened in 2018 on the back of a long history with hyperbaric oxygenation by one of their founders, Brian Lynch. He first came across hyperbaric oxygenation over thirty years ago while working on an injury case (he’s a solicitor). His client had hyperbaric oxygenation sessions at University Hospital Galway on referral from his Consultant Plastic Surgeon. Brian saw the great results and understood how it improved this person’s quality of life. The next experience was another case, this time for the ‘hospital superbug’ MRSA. He learned more about hyperbaric oxygenation and how it’s used globally as an adjunct therapy for serious infections.

OxyGeneration’s service is painless and non-invasive therapy used in hospitals all over the world (including University Hospital Galway). It is an adjunct treatment for a range of medical conditions, from serious infections, wounds (e.g. diabetic foot ulcers or radiation injury) to sports injury. It is also used to speed up or improve recovery from surgery and for general health and wellness. OxyGeneration is an approved Hyperbaric Oxygenation provider for Irish Life Health.
