Aislinn Meaney joined Galway United in 2023 after enjoying successful spells in the Women’s Premier Division with Galway WFC and Treaty United before moving to the United States to play for college teams Akron Zips and IUP Crimson Hawks. Meaney brings a strong footballing pedigree, having represented Ireland at underage level and earning multiple appearances for the senior team. She played alongside many of the players who later competed in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, placing her in excellent company.
