Emily Fitzgerald made her debut for the Galway United Senior Women’s side in April 2024, coming on as a late sub in a SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division game at Eamonn Deacy Park after some impressive performances for our WU19 sides. The following week Emily made her first start at senior level for United. Her life at the highest level in the country got off to a great start, in the Connacht Derby at The Showgrounds Emily earned her first senior goal for United in her very first start. The former Salthill Devon underage forward, certainly has a bright future with Galway United.
