Ollie Horgan arrived at Eamonn Deacy Park after nine seasons in charge of Finn Harps, where he became a club icon following two sustained spells in the Premier Division.
During his tenure at Finn Park, Horgan became renowned for his ability to extract the best from his players, while working on a tight budget relative to their domestic rivals. He guided the Ballybofey outfit to an FAI Cup Semi-Final in his first season and secured the club’s best league finish in over twenty years in 2020.
The Galway-native also guided Harps to two promotions from the First Division in 2015 and 2018, spending six of his nine years in charge at the club in the top flight of Irish football.
