Aislinn Meaney re-signs for 2024

Tá lúcháir ar Gaillimh Aontaithe a fhógairt go bhfuil Aislinn Meaney tar éis síniú arís d’fhoireann sinsireach na mban roimh an séasúr nua i 2024.

Galway United are delighted to announce that Aislinn Meaney has re-signed for the senior women’s team ahead of the 2024 season.

The 25-year-old attacker has committed to The Tribeswomen for 2024 and heads into her second season for Galway United after joining from IUP Crimson Hawks halfway through the 2023 season.

Meaney who usually plays anywhere along the front line is a player who will get fans on the edge of their seats with her technical and direct playing style. She has brilliant footballing pedigree too through her career, even playing for Ireland underage and also lining out for the senior team on multiple occasions.

Aislinn started her career playing locally with Lifford Ladies, before joining the then Galway WFC in 2017 and had an almost immediate impact, she won league player of the month in May 2018 and also made the league team of the year at the time, she then went to the United States to play with college sides Akron Zips and IUP Crimson Hawks.
