Dunne and Curran react to Bray win
Galway United TV got the thoughts of hat-trick hero Enda Curran and manager Tommy Dunne after United’s fantastic 5-0 win against Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds.
Curran volleyed United in-front after two minutes at the back post after an error from Bray Wanderers goalkeeper Stephen McGuinness.
Five minutes before the interval, Curran doubled the away sides lead when he cushioned Gary Shanahan’s cross into the net with a measured header.
In the 53rd minute, Curran sealed his hat-trick when Colm Horgan’s quick free kick picked the United marksman out and he produced another composed finish to take home the matchball.
Ryan Connolly notched a goal of the season contender in the 64th minute, Keegan teed up the former Derby County midfielder and his piledriver from over 30 yards out cannoned off the post before nestling in the back of the net.
18 year old striker Padraic Cunningham made sure of the rout in the 75th minute when he rifled his first league goal for the club past Bray netminder McGuinness.
