Eric Foley departs

Galway United can confirm that Eric Foley has left the club by mutual consent.

The 26-year-old central midfielder made ten appearances for the Tribesmen during his stay, contributing two league goals in the process.

United boss Tommy Dunne wished Foley well in his future endeavours: “Eric is a good player, but he felt a return to football in the Dublin area would better suit his personal circumstances and we respect that totally.

“Everyone at the club wishes Eric well and thanks him for his contribution to the club.”
