Tá lúcháir ar Gaillimh Aontaithe a fhógairt go bhfuil Roisin Jacob tar éis síniú arís d’fhoireann sinsireach na mban roimh an séasúr nua i 2024.

Galway United are delighted to announce that Roisin Jacob has re-signed for the senior women’s team ahead of the 2024 season. The 26 year old, has committed to The Tribeswomen for 2024 and heads into her second season for Galway United after joining from Galway WFC in 2022.

Roisín from Carnmore, Co. Galway, signed with Galway WFC to start her senior career, joining in the 2014/15 season. She then made her debut that season at senior level and has pushed greatly on since. In 2020 Roisin then signed for Athlone Town and played with the club for two seasons before returning to Galway WFC in 2022.

It was in the end of that year that Jacob made the switch to Galway United, being one of the first players signed for our senior women’s team in its founding year. Jacob was also part of the All-Island cup winning squad who made history in the 2023 season. Roisin is a versatile player who adds a tenacity, energy and gives 100% wherever she is asked to play. She will play a key role next season for the Tribeswomen.
