Stephens Day Special on Raidió na Gaeltachta

Galway United followers can look forward to a Christmas gem on Saint Stephens Day.

Raidió na Gaeltachta will broadcast a special item on the day’s sports show on the United and FC Groningen game played in An Cheathrú Rua in October 1986.

Many of the game’s key organisers are set to reflect on the sporting, social and cultural aspects of this historic football occasion. Spórt Lá le Stiofáin starts at 2.00pm and runs until 5.00pm.
