Liam Glynn RIP
Galway United Football Club were shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Liam Glynn.
Liam was a loyal Galway United supporter, club volunteer and member of the Galway United Supporters Trust management committee.
As well as his deep connection with the club, Liam was an extremely well-liked and respected teacher in the Bish (St Joseph’s College) from where he regularly organised buses for his pupils to Galway United matches all over the country.
Liam’s infectious laugh, sense of humour and brimming smile will be missed at Eamonn Deacy Park by everybody associated with the club.
Galway United sends its sincerest condolences to Liam’s wife Anne, his daughter Grace, his family and many friends at this difficult time.
Memorial mass for Liam Glynn takes place on Saturday, February 27th at the Church of St Oliver Plunkett, Renmore (11.00am).
