Galway United can confirm that David Tarmey will go on loan to Treaty United FC and Steven Healy will go on loan to Kerry FC for the 2024 season.

John Caulfield said the below:

“This is a great opportunity for the two lads who have come through our academy and signed professional contracts to get competitive first-team football as part of their development. Both players will continue to train full-time with Galway United along with continuing their level studies in Galway.

“In addition, I am pleased to confirm that Evan O’Connor (Treaty United) and Daire Mc Carthy (Kerry FC) who were part of our squad in 2023 will continue to train with us on a full-time basis along with continuing their Third Level studies in Galway. We are happy to facilitate both clubs with this arrangement.
