MATCH PREVIEW: Galway United v Wexford Youths (SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division)

    UNITED V WEXFORD    

Galway United are in action for the final time this season in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division when they travel away to Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park on Saturday, 11th November, kick off is at 4.30pm.

Galway United will travel south east to Wexford on the back of a 3-0 win against champions Peamount United last Saturday. A second half brace from Rola Olusola, with Jenna Slattery getting the third, secured a vital three points for the home side in a battle to secure fourth place. Whereas Wexford Youths are coming off a 2-1 loss away to Athlone Town last week, check out highlights of our win against the league champions below.

 

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

This will be the clubs third time meeting this season. In March, Wexford won 1-0 away in the league. Both sides met again in the Avenir Sports All-Island Cup back in July when Galway United won on that occasion on penalties after the game ended 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes, check out the highlights below.
