NEW SIGNING: LUKE DENNISON SIGNS FOR GALWAY UNITED
“I am looking forward to giving it my all for the fans and everyone involved with the club.” – Luke Dennison
Galway United are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Luke Dennison.
24-year-old Dennison joins United to compete with Conor Kearns and Michael Garrihy for the number one shirt.
Dennison, who was born in America, previously played for San Jose Earthquakes and San Francisco Glens in the US before joining Longford Town in 2019.
The shot-stopper re-signed with Longford for the 2021 season before making the switch to Galway United.
After talking to manager John Caulfield, Dennison was keen to sign on loan for the Tribesmen.
“I am very excited to be at Galway United,” Dennison told the club’s media team.
“The facilities and staff here are amazing. It is great to be playing full-time football with a good group of players. I am looking forward to giving it my all for the fans and everyone involved with the club.
“What really enticed me to come to Galway United is the conversations I had with John Caulfield. He is a brilliant manager and very straight to the point so I am excited to be playing under him.
“It will be great working under Gianluca too, the goalkeeping coach, I have heard great things about him. I can’t wait to get started and give it my all for the club.”
