Forward Francely Lomboto has re-signed with Galway United for the 2022 season.
Francely was delighted to put pen to paper to re-sign with the tribesmen for the 2022 campaign, he caught up with the media team in Eamonn Deacy Park earlier today.
“Yeah it feels good to get back, I’m really excited to get started again now”
Francely is an excellent athlete that possesses lightning pace. He previously played for the club at under-17 and under-19 level before Alan Murphy promoted the pacey attacker to the first team. Francely had a very promising start to 2021 scoring against Longford Town before unfortunately breaking his leg in the final friendly game against Wexford F.C.,
Francely had surgery earlier in the year and has come back to training in the last few weeks and has put in some exciting performances. Below Francely talks about his recovery from the leg break
“I thank god just for the people around me like the gaffer (John Caulfield) to get me back in around the boys and make me feel like a part of the team, the boys around me and my family at home. It’s good to be back after a long eight or nine months”
